Though Elves are usually fair, Arwen Evenstar, daughter of Elrond and Celebrian, is noted for her dark beauty and is said to have the likeness of Luthien, once again come to earth. It is also said that at times her eyes can pierce a man's heart.

When Frodo first saw her in Rivendell he was overwhelmed by her appearance: "Young she was, and yet not so. The braids of her dark hair were touched by no frost. Her white arms and clear face were flawless and smooth, and the light of stars was in her bright eyes, gray as a cloudless night. Yet queenly she looked, and thought and knowledge were in her glance as of one who has known many things."

So charming was the beauty of Arwen's appearance that Aragorn of Gondor fell in love with her upon first sight. So great is her love, she will forsake immortality to marry him.

Arwen's father, Elrond, fully aware of the heartbreak between immortal Elf and mortal Man will only grant his permission if Aragorn regains his crown.

She waits in Rivendell while Aragorn travels the world seeking to regain his Kingdom.

Arwen's Gown - is mocha silk chiffon over a pale pink silk chiffon under skirt. Her camel and mocha brocade bodice is trimmed in cording and laced up the front with bronze metallic cord. Vintage faceted gold steel beads loop from her bodice to the hanging sleeves. Her hair has been spiral permed and a golden brow ornament glitters with green and gold round glass beads. The faux tortoise shell and feather fan is embossed and accented with tiny "emerald" round glass beads. The little silk bag has a twin bird filigree ornament. She wears mocha suede slippers, closed over the toe with green and gold glass beads. Her hand crafted jewelry of woven golden rings is accented by golden "pearl" drops.

Arwen has been completely re-painted. She now has soft gray and gold flecked green eyes with soft sable shadows and dark feathered brows. Her delicately shadowed lips are a soft rose. Her ears have been delicately sculpted and shaded to an elven point. Paint has been sealed. She has a natural manicure and applied human hair lashes.
