The Costume - This "Patou" inspired dinner suit - circa 1939 - of bronze satin, is completely lined in black satin. The jacket has been designed with sleek princess lines and shoulder pads to create the perfect silhouette. Black lace appliques and satin tassels accent the pockets. A green silk bow compliments her eyes. The long slim skirt has a curved slit in front and sweeps to a short train. A long stole of vintage "faux" fur, lined in bronze satin, separated by bronze chiffon, is casually draped over her arm. Black gloves, a green silk lined black satin clutch, black ribbed velvet toque with black silk and organza bows, green feathers, ostrich plume and artist enhanced ornament, shoes with black silk straps and ties, worn over sheer black stockings and black "tap" pants complete the costume. The buttons, purse clasp and vintage steel and black glass bead bracelet were also handcrafted by the artist.
This costume was completely hand sewn.

Gene - has been completely repainted. She has green eyes, shadowed in soft charcoal, feathered dark brows, beautifully shaded red/bronze lips and a natural manicure. She wears a new wig, styled for the period.
