The Costume - The lined, rich loden green and gold iridescent green underskirt has been lavishly edged with gold foil and twisted green cording and tiny glass pearls. The over skirt, slashed sleeves and bodice are of a matching velvet, lined in a golden, Asian inspired brocade satin. Gold foil, cord and pearl trim has been applied to the skirt, sleeves and neckline. Her golden thread, lattice patterned upper bodice is crowned with a double ruff of ivory lace under gold lace. A smaller ruff of gold foil lace rests under the larger ruff. The bodice has been embellished with tiny lace and a golden filigree broach with faceted "emeralds", tiny round "pearls", "pearl" drops and ropes of glass pearls. Tiny lace edges her under sleeves at the wrists. She wears a "pearl" and "emerald" accented necklace with a "pearl" drop enhancer and matching earrings. A velvet hair band, gold ruffle, feathers and beaded toque grace her red curls. She carries a "pearl" and gold feather fan and a lace trimmed lawn "favor" on a glass "pearl" loop. Lace trimmed, ivory petticoat, pantalettes, stockings and embellished gold shoes complete her costume.
Elizabeth's costume was completely hand sewn from artist designed patterns and is not removable.
Gene as Elizabeth I - has been completely repainted. She has green eyes shadowed in soft charcoal, feathered russet brows, beautifully shaded natural lips, a French manicure, a new red wig and carefully trimmed applied lashes.
