"They See Him Here, They See Him There, They See Him Everywhere...That 'Demmed Illusive Pimpernel"

"Sir Percy Blakeney" finds a dashing embodiment in Trent Osborn, who has the steel to be an action hero and the wit to hide behind his alter ego: a foppish 18th-century dandy (an Exquisite), with more interest in haberdashery than politics. Based on Baroness Orczy's novel, the story focuses on the efforts of this British dandy to aid members of the French aristocracy in escaping the guillotines of the French revolution. By day, he was Sir Percival Blakeney. By night, he was the Scarlet Pimpernel (Pimpy to his friends), savior of countless victims of the French Revolution and a mean talent with a rapier. His daring secret rescue missions were a constant source of embarrassment to Robespierre and his minions. He also romances Gene Marshall, a beauty who plays Marguerite St. Just, and engages in wonderfully wicked duels of wits and blades with the humorless enforcers for the French Republicans. This swashbuckling, costume drama is the perfect showcase for Osborn’s many talents.

The Costume - Percy wears a short waisted, wide lapelled black brocade frock coat lined in black and dove grey stripe. The coat is extravagantly accented with brass buttons and is worn over a red satin waistcoat and ivory silk cravat, exquisitely tied into the “Prinny” bow. Black leather, spurred Hessian boots over tight, buckskin trousers, cabochon ruby fob seals, beaver hat, a gentleman's “single” eye glass on a gold chain and tall ebony topped walking stick complete the costume. Trent has been completely re-painted. His scalp and head were sculpted and he wears a new artist created wig, pulled back in a black silk ribbon tied “Que”.

Trent as Percy - has been completely repainted and sealed. He has blue eyes, new wig and a natural manicure.
